Established in 1921 the Department of Odontology and Stomatology of the Medical Faculty of the Kazan University marked the beginning of higher dental education in Kazan. In 1954 the Dental Faculty was created in Kazan Medical Institute.

Clinical training takes place on the basis of the Dental Clinic of KSMU, maxillo-facial departments of the Pediatric Republican Clinical Hospital and of the Emergency Medical Care Hospital and 6 pediatric dental clinics.

Duration of study: 5 years.

Upon completion, faculty graduates receive the qualification of “Dentist”.
