RULES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
ATTENTION! To attend lectures and practical studies is absolutely obligatory!
СODE OF BEHAVIOUR
1. Medical uniform: A student’s medical form is a white gown and a white medical cap. This is an obligatory student’s form both for practical studies and lectures.
2. Footwear: In a hospital shoes must be changed. Shoes must be clean, well kept. Athletic style shoes and nursing shoes should not be worn.
3. Outward appearance: Extreme hair colours, hairstyles, and hair ornaments should not be worn. Cosmetics should be moderately used. Perfumes, colognes or heavy fragrances should not be worn, as many patients and staff members are supersensitive and become nauseated or experience respiratory distress when exposed to chemical scents or odours. Fingernails must be clean, short, and neatly trimmed.
The manuals which you have got must be returned at the end of our course on the day of your examination.
At the end of our course you’ll have an examination consisting of three stages: 1) practical skills at a patient’s bedside, 2) test tasks, 3) oral talk according to a card.
The concluding mark will be given with the account of your progress at the practical studies and your attendance of the lectures and practical studies, also the mark got by you for a written case history.
Succession of lectures (see below) may be changed, in such a case you will be additionally informed.
