Global Health
THERE WILL BE NO COMPETITION FOR A FELLOWSHIP UNDER THE PROGRAMME “GLOBAL HEALTH” IN 2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR
Since 2010, Kazan State Medical University has been a participant of the Global Health program, implemented in collaboration with the University of Vermont, the Western Connecticut Health Network, now a part of Nuvance Health(USA) and Makerere University (Uganda). The Global Health Program provides multiple opportunities for students, faculty and staff to participate in internships in USA, Uganda and Dominican Republic.
Through the program, students of KSMU in a 6-week clinical rotation at one of the program’s partner hospitals, students also participate in optional research projects and go on field trips to notable landmarks.
Every year since 2013, students from medical schools of the USA visit KSMU for a 6-week elective as part of the Global Health program.
