Internship in Turkey

Representatives of the Neurology Department of Kazan State Medical University - Professor Zuleykha Zalyalova and Assistant of the Department Sabina Munasipova - have completed the clinical and scientific internship in Turkey within the grant from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan “Algarysh” in the category “Project Teams”.

 

During the internship at the Neurological Clinic of the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University there was an exchange of experience on the application of the main methods of treatment of extensive stages of Parkinson’s disease, educational seminars were organized within the framework of which Z.A. Zalyalova and S.E. Munasipova held a master class “Tourette syndrome and other comorbid disorders”. The participants of the project team have been involved in the work of the joint consortium of neurologists and neurophysiologists, discussed complex clinical cases, developed diagnostic search.

 

The result of the internship was the development of international cooperation with leading Turkish scientists and neurologists-practitioners, increasing the level of assistance to patients with Parkinson’s disease in the Republic of Tatarstan, application of the acquired knowledge in the educational process on the clinical bases of Kazan State Medical University.
