Rustam Minnikhanov and Andrew Padmos discussed prospects for further cooperation in the field of medical education, including in the area of student exchange. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan added that about one thousand foreign students from more than 50 countries of the world are studying at KSMU today. The cooperation of the KSMU with the Royal College will significantly enhance the prestige and authority of the Kazan Medical School, Rustam Minnikhanov noted.

After that the delegation of Tatarstan visited the Children's Hospital of Sick kids. This medical institution is the second largest pediatric research base in the world after the Children's Hospital in Boston. The hospital is designed for 370 beds, in total about 5000 professional employees are employed. For children in Sick kids created a unique environment, which harmoniously combines the treatment, training and play.
