On December 2 – 9, 2023, the delegation of Kazan State Medical University, consisting of Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students Alina Bairasheva and students - winners of the plenary session of the XXII Interregional Educational Practical Conference for Students “On-the job training in a medical university. Expanding horizons”, was on a visit at Tashkent Medical Academy (Republic of Uzbekistan).

Students of Kazan State Medical University: Saleev Nail, 5 year of study, Dentistry Faculty, Ivshinna Anna, 6 year of study, Pediatrics Faculty, Kagarmanova Regina, 6 year of study, Pediatrics Faculty, Sattarova Alena, 6 year of study, Pediatrics Faculty successfully underwent the internship at Tashkent Medical Academy.

During the internship they practiced practical skills at the Department of Simulation Technologies and laboratories, visited the Academy’s clinical bases – Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after V. Vahidov and Republican Specialized Scientific Practical Medical Center of Hematology, got acquainted with the work of medical units, as well as with unique clinical cases.

As part of the visit, the delegation of Kazan State Medical University had a meeting with the administration of Tashkent Medical Academy – Acting Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Boymuradov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Jakhongirkhon Israilov and Dean of the International Faculty Tursunov Jakhangir, as well as students of the joint educational program “General Medicine” of KSMU and TMA. During the meeting, the delegation participants shared their impressions of the internship. The parties also discussed the implementation of the joint educational program.

In addition, participants of the internship got acquainted with the history and culture of Uzbekistan.

On December 12, 2023, the delegation of Mayavilai company (Beijing, China) consisting of CEO Dai Lu, Executive Director Van Nan, Deputy Director Se Weixing, Head of the International Relations Department U Xiaojen and company representative in Kazan Hao Chaoyang visited Kazan State Medical University.

Members of the delegation had a meeting with Rector of KSMU Aleksey Sozinov, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students Elena Koshpaeva, Dean of the Department of Higher Nursing Education Olga Morozova, Head of the Office of International Affairs Tatiana Korobovtseva.

Following the meeting, the parties signed an Agreement on cooperation between Kazan State Medical University and Mayavilai company.

In October 2023, company representatives have already visited our university to discuss the prospects of international cooperation.

Parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached will give new impetus and development to bilateral relations.
