Educational Fair in India

Kazan State Medical University took part in the Educational Fair of Russian Universities that was held in major cities of India: Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trivandrum and Delhi.

12 most popular among Indian students Russian universities were invited to the exhibitions.

Kazan State Medical University was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of General Pathology Akhmetov, Timur Rustemovich.

The exhibition opening ceremony started with the speech by the Consul of the Russian Federation, Sergey Alekseevich Lagutin. He noted that the Russian government support for international students has increased in recent years, more than 1,300 students from Tamil Nadu state (state capital is Chennai) are admitted to medical universities in Russia every year. In view of the importance of medical education for the development of healthcare of India, the Minister of Health of Tamil Nadu state, Dr. Thiru Ma.Subramanian, also attended the event.

The exhibitions were accompanied by media coverage in newspapers and on television and attracted a lot of interest from the public, every day the exhibition booth of Kazan State Medical University was visited by 30-40 prospective students.
