New innovative academic program

Kazan State Medical University launched a new innovative 4-year program in General Medicine.

At a meeting of the admission commission held in August 2022, 13 international students were selected to study in the new problem-oriented academic program "General Medicine". The program is implemented as part of the Federal Innovation Platform at Kazan State Medical University.

The General Medicine innovative academic program is a 4-year curriculum developed by faculty of Kazan State Medical University; it is based on problem-based learning method.

Graduates of this program will receive a Doctor of Medicine Degree. The program is taught in English; it combines Russian education traditions and standards with the best international teaching and learning practices.

From day one, students learn how to use their theoretical knowledge in the field of medicine to solve real life clinical problems.
