Visit of Delegation from Uzbekistan

From November 29 to December 6, 2022, a delegation of Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) (Republic of Uzbekistan) including Dean of the International Faculty of TMA D.H. Tursunov and students of the KSMU-TMA joint educational program currently studying at TMA visited Kazan State Medical University.

On November 30, Rector of Kazan State Medical University Alexey Sozinov met with members of the delegation.

First Vice-Rector Laysan Mukharyamova, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students Elena Koshpaeva, Head of the Department of International Cooperation Marat Mukhamedyarov also took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, Professor Alexey Sozinov made a presentation about Kazan State Medical University, told the guests about the history, current areas of activity and the latest achievements of the university. The participants of the meeting discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation between universities, including the implementation of a joint educational program in the specialty "General Medicine".

During their stay in Kazan, the delegation visited various structural units of Kazan State Medical University, as well as the clinical bases of the University - the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan and the City Clinical Hospital No.7 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
