Memorandum of Understanding with Semey Medical University

On December 19, 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Kazan State Medical University and Semey Medical University (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The Memorandum is intended to establish common principles of cooperation between universities for conducting joint events, programs and projects to develop academic, scientific and cultural ties, international cooperation and to promote common goals in the field of education, science and health.

Potential forms of cooperation include the exchange of students and faculty, the implementation of joint research projects, the exchange of experience and educational technologies.

Semey Medical University is one of the largest higher medical educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is a multidisciplinary medical university with its own clinical base (University Hospital) and branches in the cities of Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The University provides educational services of higher, postgraduate and additional education. The training is conducted in Kazakh, Russian and English. The total number of employees of the university is more than 1,500 people. More than five thousand students study at Semey Medical University.
