International conference

The academic staff of Kazan State Medical University took part in the VI Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference on Medical Education “Education of the Future: Wind of Change”.

On April, 20-21, 2023, the VI Central Asian International Scientific and Practical Conference on Medical Education “Education of the Future: Wind of Change” held at Karaganda Medical University.

The aim of the conference is a development of international cooperation, strategic partnership and exchange of experience in medical education. The representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, experts, heads of educational organizations, scientists, academic staff and students of universities from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Georgia, Germany, France, India, the USA took part in the conference.

Tatiana Ryabova, Chief of Medical Education Research Center, Associate Professor of Psychiatry Department took part in the section “Integration: clinic, science, education” and made a presentation “Interdisciplinary study of the factors of successful professional adaptation of residents”.

Arina Ziganshina, Assistant of the Hospital Pediatrics Department, made an online presentation “Evidence-based assessment of the effectiveness of educational activities: from the classroom to the practical network”.

The program of the conference included plenary sessions and round tables on the problems of modern medical education, perspectives in residency training, problems of simulation training; also, there were a poster session of young scientists, SimLab online competition to develop clinical scenarios and International Student Olympiad.
