International Conference in the Republic of Uzbekistan

On May 19-20, 2023, the 77th International Scientific and Practical Conference of medical students and young scientists “Achievements of Fundamental, Applied Medicine and Pharmacy” was held at the Samarkand State Medical University (Republic of Uzbekistan).

In the section “Pediatrics” students of the 6th year from Pediatric Faculty, under the guidance of MD, Professor of Hospital Pediatrics Department Kamalova Aelita Askhatovna, made oral presentations.

Nikolaeva Elena (gr.2608) won in the nomination “Best scientific approach” with a report “Clinical case: Niemann-Pick disease type A/B and Arnold-Chiari anomaly in a patient of thirteen years” (co-author Raimova Adelina, gr. 2608).

Frolov Evgeny (gr. 2610) won in the nomination “Best scientific work” with a report “Determination of the threshold level of fecal calprotectin as a screening marker of the activity of inflammatory bowel diseases in children” (co-author Kulakova Ekaterina, gr. 2609).

Kalistratova Yulia (gr. 2602) won in the nomination “Original research” with a report “Results of the first stage of screening to identify risk groups of cardiovascular diseases in children” (co-authors Aigul Shtyrkova, Adilya Garipova, gr. 2602) under the guidance of MD, Professor of Hospital Pediatrics Department Sadykovoh Dinara Ilgizarovna, MD, Professor Kamalova Aelita Askhatovna, PhD, Assistant Rakhmaeva Razili Foatovna.
