KSMU in RAEX ranking

Kazan State Medical University has become one of the best universities in Russia.

A new rating of the 100 best universities in Russia according to the RAEX agency has been published. Kazan State Medical University is on the 40th place among all Russian universities and on the 4th place among medical universities after Sechenov University, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.

In total, 4 universities of Tatarstan were included in the rating. Among them, Kazan Federal University – 20th place, KNRTU-KAI named after A.N. Tupolev – 47th place, Kazan National Research Technological University – 74th place.

Note that last year 6 universities of Tatarstan were included in this rating. So, there were no Innopolis University and Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering in the list of educational institutions of this year.

RAEX rating assesses the quality of higher education (50%), the demand for graduates from employers (30%), the level of research activity (20%) and other criteria. Today it is the only Russian academic rating system undergoing the international audit from IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence.
