Forum of Young Scientists
On November 1-4, 2023, the Academic Forum of Young Scientists from the countries of Greater Eurasia “Continent of Science” dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held in Moscow. The Associate Professor of Hygiene, Occupational Medicine Department of KSMU, MD, Gulnara Badamshina represented our university at the forum. Participants presented the results of their research within the framework of 6 thematic scientific sections – “Artificial Intelligence” (mathematics, information and communication technology), “Physics” (quantum and nanotechnology), “Chemistry and Materials Science”, “Healthy Generation” (bio- and medical technologies, climate, ecology), “Biosecurity and Food Safety” (agricultural sciences), “Preserving the Heritage” (humanities and social sciences).
At the forum Gulnara Badamshina made a presentation “Biological risk of development of health disorders in medical workers” and as a result of the competition took the second place in the section “Healthy Generation”. The Forum “Continent of Science” brought together young scientists from the countries of Greater Eurasia - Russia, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and other countries. A total of representatives of 21 countries participated in it.
The event was organized to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and discussion of current scientific problems within the framework of the Great Eurasian Partnership, synchronization of strategies and initiatives of Eurasian countries for the formation of a single scientific and technological space and the strengthening of supranational academic and scientific ties. The large-scale event was opened by the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Krasnikov, CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin and other honorable guests.
