Congress of Pharmacologists of Russia

The delegation of Kazan State Medical University took part in the VI Congress of Pharmacologists of Russia “Generational change and preservation of traditions. New ideas – new medicines”, which is the main scientific forum of specialists in research and development of medicines.

KSMU was represented by the Chair of Pharmacology Department, Professor Ayrat Ziganshin and Director of the Central Research Laboratory, Professor Irina Semina, who made oral presentations at the Congress. Professor Lilia Ziganshina, Assistant Daria Ivanova and junior researcher of the laboratory “Systems of medicine delivery directions” Dmitry Nikitin made a speech at the poster sessions.

14 scientific symposiums were included in the program of the congress, where issues of searching for new pharmacological targets, studying of the mechanisms of drug action, creation of new drugs, pharmacokinetics and drug safety, pharmacological regulation of dependence states, adaptation, problems of introduction of innovative drugs in clinical practice, aspects of personalized medicine, features of treatment of polymorbide patients were discussed.

The materials of the Congress are published in the supplement to the journal “Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology”.
