International Olympiad in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
International Olympiad in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology for students of 4-5 year of study, which was organized by the Internal Medicine Department and Endocrinology Department of Tashkent Medical Academy, is over.
The Olympiad was held online in 3 stages (test, case studies, blitz-poll) in Uzbek, Russian and English. 95 students participated in the Olympiad (“Internal Medicine” - 45 students, “Endocrinology” - 50 students), including students from Kazan State Medical University, Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, Indian Institute of Science, Tashkent Medical Academy, Andijan State Medical Institute, Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino, etc.
15 students, who received high scores in the 1st stage of the Olympiad, passed to the 2nd stage, where they needed to demonstrate knowledge and clinical thinking in solving situational task as effectively as possible. 10 students reached the 3rd stage of the Olympiad. During the blitz-poll participants should answer 10 questions, 1 minute for each question.
According to the results of all stages of the Olympiad in the section “Internal Medicine”, the student of our university Jaloliddin Solijonov (gr. 1517) won the 1st place. Supervisor: Associate Professor of Hospital Therapy Department, Ph.D., Guzel Nurullina.
