Ranking of media activity
MIA Rossiya Segodnya and Brand Analytics published a ranking of media activity of universities of the Russian Federation in November 2023. According to the results, Kazan State Medical University entered the Top-10 in the media and social media ranking among Russian medical universities and took the 8th place. Among the universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, represented in the rating, KSMU is 3rd only behind Kazan Federal University and University of Innopolis.
Ratings of universities is a joint project of the Social Navigator project of MIA Rossiya Segodnya and Brand Analytics. The index of efficiency of the university’s work with mass media takes into account the number of publications about the university and its employees in media, audience of these sources, the number of TV stories aired, as well as the number of exclusive news about the university or its projects.
The rating assesses the media activity of over 573 universities in the country, 46 universities belong to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
According to the results in November, KSMU moved up 5 positions and takes the 8th place with total index 2 747.
Apart from the media and social media ranking, the rating takes into account the involvement of the audience on own resources.
In November the official Telegram-channel of Kazan State Medical University became the main internal information resource of the university (https://t.me/meduniversitetkazan) - 140 312 views, in the 2nd place – the official Vkontakte group (https://vk.com/kazangmu) - 118 823 views and in the 3rd place – the official website of Kazan State Medical University (https://kazangmu.ru/) - 114 783 views in November.
High positions in the rating is a great result and indicator that KSMU is moving in the right direction. News of our university about educational and research activities are in demand and interesting to a wide range of readers.
